In 2001 Lynda Petitjean and Thierry Bornarel installed themselves south of Perpignan (in the Pyrénées Orientales) where they cultivate fresh aromatic plants. Their three farms now produce more than twenty different aromatic herbs that are marketed under the name Les Herbiers. Herbs are grown simultaneously in open fields and in greenhouses in order to provide crops all year round. The herbs are collected and conditioned by hand by the farm teams to ensure the best possible handling of this fragile and demanding product. Because of this, freshness, quality and origin are guaranteed for everything produced.
