Gastronomic Restaurant Vonnas

Grandson of Elisa Blanc, elected best cook in the world in 1933, the great Chef Georges Blanc is one of the best ambassadors of French gastronomy. In his gourmet village Vonnas, he honors the art of living and the emblematic products of his native region. His cuisine, combining revisited tradition and creation around high quality products, is the reflection of his passion for the Bresse region. It is impossible to miss the incredible poularde de Bresse with cream or his grandmother's crêpes vonnassiennes.

A beautiful half-timbered building on the banks of the river offers you a few nicely decorated and comfortable rooms. All are air-conditioned and most have a balcony facing the square or the river. The Hotel Les Saules offers you comfort, pleasure and tranquility in a refined and more contemporary atmosphere for the superior rooms, cozy for the traditional rooms.

This Bressan-style building blends in well with the architecture of the square and of the village, facing the hotel-restaurant, Georges Blanc. The Ancienne Auberge is a reconstruction of the Auberge des Blanc in 1872, where the family cuisine pays homage to the recipes of that time.
